Pair of American sterling silver serving ladles in the celebrated Stieff Rose pattern, one gravy ladle and one smaller sauce ladle. First introduced in 1892, the Rose pattern became one of the most beloved designs in American silver, created using the traditional repoussŽ technique in which the floral decoration is formed by hand from the reverse side of the silver.
The handles display lush sculptural roses, leaves, and buds in deep relief, giving the pattern its signature romantic character. Stieff Rose flatware remained in production for decades and is widely admired for the richness of its repoussŽ work and the quality of American sterling craftsmanship.
Set includes two ladles:
Large gravy ladle: approximately 6.5" L x 2.25" W
Smaller sauce ladle: approximately 5" L x 1.5" W
