These are the plates that make dinner feel like an occasion — even if it’s just bread, butter, and something cold in a coupe. Made by Salins Les Bains in late 19th century France, each plate is sculpted with raised garden vegetables and finished in rich green and purple majolica glazes against a creamy white ground. French majolica was created to celebrate the table itself — turning everyday dining into something layered, colorful, and alive.
They were never meant to be hidden away. Mix them into a place setting, stack them on open shelving, or hang them to frame a wall. They carry that effortless, collected confidence the French have always mastered — beautiful, functional, and completely unbothered.
Signed on the back, and increasingly hard to find as a complete set of six.
