Victorian charm with a side of side-eye. This antique English porcelain pug bank dates to the early 1900s and was originally made to be smashed open once full of coins (the horror). Hand-painted in rich tones of russet, cream, and black, this expressive little guy features wide eyes, wrinkled jowls, and a look that says, “Are you really spending again?”
No cork, no plug, and no intention of being smashed—this one’s retired from guard duty and ready for display. Perch him on a shelf, pop him on a desk, or add him to your menagerie of oddball Edwardian treasures. He’s got range.
