Rare Oversized English Staffordshire King Charles Spaniel Dogs

Extremely rare and unapologetically fabulous, this oversized pair of 19th-century Staffordshire spaniels brings all the charm and none of the subtlety. Hand-painted in classic russet and cream with expressive, slightly judgy faces (don’t take it personally—they judge everyone), these pups were made to command attention from the mantel, hearth, or entryway.

Both figures have minor age-related hairlines—subtle, stable, and consistent with early Staffordshire. Unmarked, as is typical of the period, but unmistakably full of presence. A standout pair for collectors, decorators, and anyone who believes their antiques should come with a little personality.
