Rare early 19th century English transferware platter in Ridgway’s Cowman pattern. Depicts a peaceful rural scene with a farmer and his cow beside a thatched-roof cottage, framed by a deep cobalt blue floral border. Produced circa 1820s and unmarked, as expected for the period. A scarce and highly collectible example of early Staffordshire pottery, exceptionally preserved for its age.
