Rare C. 1800 Castleford Teapot w/ American Eagle, Feldspathic Stoneware

Rare and historically significant, this C. 1800 Castleford teapot was crafted in Yorkshire, England, from feldspathic stoneware. Featuring a beautifully molded American eagle motif, the design blends neoclassical British styling with early American symbolism. Blue enamel highlights the geometric paneling and acanthus details. The sliding lid, a hallmark of Castleford teapots, is topped with a molded flower finial. A unique piece for collectors of early ceramics and transatlantic decorative arts.
