Midcentury Atelier du Tabalou Limoges Oyster & Escargot Service
Midcentury Atelier du Tabalou Limoges Oyster & Escargot Service
Couldn't load pickup availability
A bold rare midcentury Atelier du Tabalou Limoges oyster service featuring one scalloped master platter and six individual plates. The undulating form sets it apart from standard round chargers, giving the set sculptural presence on the table. The master is unusually composed to hold a full dozen oysters plus three escargot wells — a rare configuration that reads as a composed French first course rather than a typical sauce-centered service. Hand-painted coastal details and deeply molded wells create movement against luminous white porcelain.
This isn’t beach-bar seafood. It’s champagne, linen napkins, and someone who knows exactly what they’re serving!
