Midcentury Longchamp oyster plate in creamy white faience, c.1940s–1960s. Designed with six shell-shaped wells and a central sauce compartment, framed by a textured basketweave border, this plate is the definition of French coastal chic.
While originally made for oysters, its versatility makes it a hostess dream — perfect for serving hors d’oeuvres, condiments, crudités, or even sweets. The central well doubles beautifully for a dipping sauce, dressing, or garnish. Off the table, it displays strikingly on a wall, adding sculptural texture and a whisper of Riviera glamour to any space.
Marked Longchamp France on underside. Minimal wear, with no crazing; one tiny flake (see photo). A collectible that blends French craftsmanship with midcentury entertaining style.
