Mid 20th century French "Faux Bois" dinnerware service by Niderviller, featuring a beautifully textured faux woodgrain pattern in soft gray and cream tones. This original French design became highly influential and was later widely copied in the American market, including by Martha Stewart collections. The satin finish, asymmetrical organic forms, and layered crosshatch decoration create a sophisticated rustic modern look equally suited to a French country kitchen or refined contemporary table. Service for eight with coordinating serving bowl.
