Mid 20th century French "Faux Bois" soup and salad service by Niderviller, featuring a beautifully textured faux woodgrain pattern in soft gray and cream tones. This original French design became highly influential and was later widely copied in the American market, including by Martha Stewart collections. The satin finish, asymmetrical organic forms, and layered crosshatch decoration create a sophisticated rustic modern look that feels equally at home in a French country kitchen or a refined contemporary table setting. A striking 16-piece set with timeless European style.
