Late 19th century English silver plated cream and sugar set designed by Christopher Dresser for Hukin & Heath. Executed in Dresser's iconic naturalistic style, the pair features sculptural asymmetrical forms with bark inspired surfaces and richly textured hammered detailing throughout. Marked on the underside, these highly unusual examples reflect the forward thinking aesthetic that made Dresser one of the most influential designers of the Arts & Crafts movement. A rare and sophisticated addition to a tea service or design collection.
