A stunning example of Chinese export porcelain, this polychrome espresso set for twelve is decorated in the intricate Thousand Butterfly pattern. Hand-painted in vibrant greens, blues, iron oxide, yellow, and black, each piece showcases exquisite craftsmanship. Dating to the late 19th or early 20th century, the set bears red glaze marks reading “Made in China” or “China,” in compliance with the 1891 country of origin import law. A rare and elegant addition to any collection or table setting.
