A fairytale with fangs! This c. 1860 Staffordshire figurine captures Little Red Riding Hood mid-encounter with the Big Bad Wolf—who appears here looking suspiciously polite. A nod to Victorian storytelling and parlor display culture, these whimsical figures were often unmarked and produced in small batches. This one features beautifully preserved hand-painting, textured glaze, and just enough drama to make your mantel do the talking.
