Antique English Fox Door Knocker

Late 19th century English fox form door knocker with beautifully modeled naturalistic detail and elongated front legs forming the functional striker. The expressive sculptural design captures the alert features and character of the fox, making the piece equally appealing as decorative sporting art and architectural hardware. A wonderful English country house accent with strong presence despite its compact scale. Mounting holes present; screws not included.
