Antique Copper Lustre Staffordshire Dogs, a Pair

A pair of very unusual Staffordshire Spaniels with full copper lustre glaze. They are a good medium size, perfect to fit in anywhere. Staffordshire dogs were first created as a tribute to Queen Victoria's beloved King Charles Spaniel, Dash. Made circa 1860. As with most early Staffordshire, there is no maker's mark.
