A charming miniature Staffordshire group, this 19th-century English figure captures a tender moment between a couple seated side by side—perhaps sharing tea, secrets, or simply a quiet pause. These smaller-scale Staffordshire figures were often tucked into shelves or nestled among books, beloved for the personality they brought to every corner of the home.

Like most pieces from this period, it was made by one of the many small potteries in Staffordshire and remains unmarked. Crafted circa 1850–1870, it’s a delightful glimpse into Victorian domestic life and the artistry that defined it.
