Mid 20th century British automotive club trophy cup engraved Scarborough Hill Climb 1962 and awarded by the Yorkshire Centre of the British Automobile Racing Club (BARC). The front features the colorful BARC enamel badge depicting the heraldic lion and racing flags, a detail that adds both color and historic interest to the piece.

Hill climb racing was a popular form of British motorsport throughout the 20th century, with local clubs hosting competitive timed climbs on steep countryside roads. Trophies such as this were awarded at regional events organized by the British Automobile Racing Club and its local chapters.

The cup retains its original enamel emblem and engraved presentation. The silverplate surface shows natural patina and tarnish consistent with age, which may be polished if a brighter finish is preferred.
