1920s French "Blush" Dinner Napkins W/ Tablecloth, Service for 12

Made circa 1920, this collection possesses an air of sophisticated elegance, devoid of the typical monograms but instead featuring the initials of the seamstress. This touch was common in fine French linens of the period (see photo) and adds an authentic charm to the set. Washed in soothing lavender water and heavily starched, the linens provide a rich texture and aromatic presence that evoke the countryside of France. Minor color irregularities and light spots from ironing with heavy starch are normal characteristics of this artisanal process and will wash out, adding to the vintage charm of this remarkable set.
