These exquisite French Renaissance-style majolica snack / side plates depict pairs of classical busts rendered in vibrant polychrome glazes. Each plaque is uniquely hand-painted, framed with scrolled and foliate borders, and marked “France” with an artist’s cipher on the reverse. Likely mid-20th century, these are exceptional decorative pieces for lovers of grand tour, neoclassical, or salon-style interiors. Sold as a set of six. Minor glaze wear consistent with age.
