Ten piece French Gien serving set in French Renaissance style imagery. Pattern includes a central medallion with a cupid and crown, allegory motifs, griffins and satyrs. Vibrant colors with deep cobalt blue background. Set includes: one platter, eight plates, and a tiered tray. Dimensions: platter, 15"W x 14"L x .75"H; plates, 8.5"Dia x .75"H; tiered serving tray, 8.25"L x 8.25"W x 10"H. Dated 1938 - 1960. Maker's mark on underside. Light wear, crazing, chip to one plate edge.
