19th-C. Champagne Tap w/ Dragon Spout

Antique French champagne tap with figural dragon head, circa 1880. Champagne tap allows you to pour a glass of bubbly whilst keeping the fizz in the wine. The steel tip screws into the cork (it is recommended you drill a small hole in the cork first to make it easier). You then turn the fishtail stopper to allow the champagne to flow through and out the dragon mouth spout, keeping the remaining sparkling wine fresh in the bottle. No maker's mark. Light wear.
